Several factors.
A) I’m able to completely replicate my town game as wolf. Tone, analysis, basically everything.
B) I can easily back up my arguments with logic. Even as a wolf I’m very logically sound here so I can easily argue for who I want lynched.
C) I know how to interact with my wolfbuddies in a way that makes us look not W/W. Even if either of us flip then it doesn’t give too much info for the village.
D) I plan ahead a lot of time as scum. Like, usually who to push, who to pocket, who to kill and whatnot I do it d1.

the single best part of playing town is when it’s the midgame you and a couple townies have found each other as definitively and unquestionably locktown and you’re just all working together to bounce ideas off each other and solve the game
uh to think of an example, D3+ of MHA Mafia with Litten and Andres was like that

Being somewhat townread but kinda nullish is great
Being scumread leads to a bunch of people coming out with the same two points against your slot. It’s frustrating since people aren’t always reasonable with their points
