[FM] Ritual Mafia IV -- Day 4 (7/16) -- Heretics and Traitor Win!

The fact we need to make sure we don’t take risks after A) Diviner killed themselves B) 3 mislynches C) One successful nightkill D) TWO CONVERTS is ridiculous

Delay replacement announcements by an hour to allow for all players to get used to their class, and the threadstate - also stops crazy angleshooting on people who don’t immediately talk

Great idea

Are you saying setup is too townsided?

well the entire scumteam outting themselves didn’t help

the game was mechanically unlosable basically if we did my exact nightplan

Which wazza defied laughably

I’m saying that the fact we had so much advantages yet because of replacements they knew who town were and could limit to such a PoE that we could still lose is ridiculous

Replacements and mechanical situation at the endgame are not related.

This’ll solve the quick-fire questions. But how do we solve the massive skill-jump from replacements?

have more replacements and give priority to “equally skilled ones” which is subjective anyway

aka you pretty much can’t

Thats what i suggested as well.

like i said before, i don’t think there is any conceivable solution to this that isn’t absurdly more awful than the status quo.

this definitely sounds like a way to cause hurt feelings

we could try actually enforcing the ‘don’t replace out all the time’ rule

i assume most replacements in this game and other recent games were with good reason

If they’re slanking it won’t help either. Then the game just isn’t actually played.

starting to modkill slots due to inactivity much more hurts game integrity

I dunno. Maybe add a sort of ‘spectator’ thing where there is a designated spectator to hydra with the person but they aren’t allowed to talk in thread until they replace out or smthn but can talk in classcards?

temporarily blacklisting people who’ve replaced out in seven of their past eight games doesn’t

(to be clear I don’t actually think anyone has done anything that egregious, it’s a deliberately hyperbolic answer for demonstrative purposes)

that’s a decent idea
