i got really paranoid around the time the ritual was happening that i’d die
but prior to that i don’t think it was that likely
katze wasn’t relying on it, he was planning for the contingency of it happening
so if you thought Cleanse was active
then why did you want to sacrifice Alice so that the Martyr ability could be used?
Because it would be useless anyway, there’s only 1 ability I wanted from it and at the time I believed there was a Witch Doctor anyway, cough look where that got us cough.

Wazza claims that he was comfortable sacrificing Alice even though she was just a townlean because he believed Cleanse to be active. But, Wazza said while we were discussing the ritual that we should sacrifice her because of the Martyr abilities being useful! If Wazza thought Cleanse was active, then he wouldn’t have tried to sacrifice someone because of the strength of their abilities.
