Results: He never claimed invest. He did say things about anomalous being invest-proof though.
Aside from that he just says that it is strong and that he will become anomalous if he targets one, while the effect won’t resolve thereafter.

…I am still worried about a certain VC in the past though, because it showed that someone’s vote (between Wazza, Shadow, Simon and Meteoro) was eaten. …but the next VC from Maximus showed nothing of the like. In fact, nothing of the sort happened thereafter.

I’m a variant on bodyguard. If my target is attacked by a non-anomalous player then I stop the attack and kill the attacker (and survive too!) however if they are anomalous then my ability does nothing and I become anomalous.
That may SOUND really good. But apparently most of the scum are anomalous so it ends up being kinda meh
