Alice would have noticed me pushing for detonations as scum would be LHF, and try and get me detonated. Especially since I’m one away from her I pose a threat but she’s still safe.

Detonators should be a near last resort of it looks like they might not die, for town at least.
For scum, detonators means a way to kill townies. The drawback is, of course, being detonated themselves if they don’t provide adequate reasoning behind detonation.
