gorta should be simple
they came off a scum game they wanted revenge for (SFoL 60), and they immediately come into thread this game completely bummed out. Them faking emotion is such a way would be considerably difficult given that they would come in this game expressly with the goal to dominate town, not just getting townread through a gimmick.

oblight had two key factors I’d like to focus on:
they didn’t know how coven in this game worked and brought it up in a way that came up so late that it would be unreasonable for scum to come into thread with this sort of thing planned (does ‘wtf is fearmonger’ ring a bell?).
second, they very much supported the lynch on cheese when evo very much wanted to push alice to lynch. It’s a conflict of goals and evo would want to communicate that to his scummate.
Both of these factors make it unlikely for them to be scummates.
(this last one is mostly worthless considering twi flipped town, but w/e)
