FMIV - Witch Hunt - Singups [5/12]

Rules

  1. Don’t be an idiot. Respect your fellow players.
  2. I have the final say in all role disputes. If you have a problem with my rulings, PM me.
  3. Do not communicate outside of the thread with any other players in the game about the game without my permission.
  4. Do not go against your victory condition.
  5. Don’t be inactive. Prods will be given every 48 hours. Faliure to respond to prods will get you replaced.
  6. Have fun!

Mechanics

General

Day is 72 hours.
Night is 24 hours.
This game is Flipless, meaning that roles are not revealed upon death.
Witch kill can be performed alongside any actions the witches perform that night.

Special

Angels and Demons - When you die, you will become either an Angel or a Demon depending on whether or not you were a Witch.

Angels - Each night you may target a player, protecting them from dying that night.
Demons - Each night you may target 2 players, swapping their investigative results. If you target the same person as the Angel, then the Angels can no longer protect that player.

Roles And Allignments - Unlike most games, most roles can be given to EITHER allignment. Town are known as Town, Mafia are known as Witches. There are 3 witches in this game in paticular.

Extra Lives - Roles may give out Extra Lives, that protect a player from almost all forms of death, including lynching. It is always announced if a player should’ve died but didn’t. The cause of their survival, however, is not announced.

Welcome, [X] you are the Priest.!

Unlike most roles, your allignment is gaurenteed to be Town. You win when the Witches are dead.

Abilties:
-Each night you may investigate a player, finding out if they are a Witch or not. Beware, the Demons may mess with your results.

Welcome, [X], you are the Judge!

Abiltiies:
-Should the town not reach majority by the end of the day, you will decide the lynch for them. As a bonus, this lynch goes through all Extra Lives a player may have.

Welcome, [X], you are the Gravedigger!

Abilities:
-You will learn whether a dead player was a Witch or not.

Welcome, [X], you are the Apprentice!

Abilities:
-On night 0, you may choose to either be the Apprentice to the Judge or to the Gravedigger.
-You will learn the identity of the one you chose, and will take over their duties should they die.

Abilities:
-In the 48 hours after your death was announced, you may PM me a person that you wish to kill.
-They will die at the end of the following Day.

-You start the game with an Extra Life, and will thus survive the first attempt to kill you…

Abilties:
-On night 0, pick either Odd or Even. You cannot be killed on Odd nights if you picked Odd, and vice versa. This does not effect kills that happen during the day.

-You will be informed if you are ever checked by the Priest.
-Every time you are checked by the Priest, you will gain an Extra Life!

Welcome, [X], you are the Oracle!

Abilities:
-You know that [X] is Town, and is also not the Priest. You do not know their exact role however.

Welcome, [X], you are the Watchman

Abilties:
-At the end of Night 0, you will learn the identity of one player who is Town.
-They cannot be the Priest, Gambler, Oracle or Apprentice.

Welcome, [X], you are the Hunter

Abilities:
-The first time a player survives a kill, you may kill a player privately the following night.
-This kill does not pierce Extra Lives.

Welcome, [X], you are the Emmissary!

Abilties:
-You cannot be killed in any way, shape or form until the end of Night 3, at which point you are just as vunerable as everyone else.

Allignment Messages

You are a member of the Town, and win when all the Witches are dead.

You are a Witch, and win when the Town has no way to stop you from killing all of them. [X] and [X] are the other Witches.

if there is only 1, then why don’t we just vfr? it would be very easy.

Did you not notice that there are no protective roles that target other people excluding the Angels, there are ways around the Angels anyway, so the Priest will get murdered, the game is fliples, so there could easily be fakeclaiming , and everyone has a rock-hard safeclaim.

Yeah, I know. But I wanted to host it, and I don’t own it, and I have a copy of Ultimate Werewolf and I imagine that my parents wouldn’t get that I would ‘waste’ my money on something that’s technically an entirely different game.

So you get basically the experience of Mafia because video and voice are enabled

Or discord and just use voice
