Maybe you realize that the queue in this match were not the normal people we always had. We had 8 newbies. I had no reason to believe I would be mislynched d2. (Especially as Prince… the situation back then was a different)
So I correctly read her as BD, which was likely mostly luck, but basically:
-I basically just ignored everything she had to say about neuts, because Priestess is super neuts in and so that’s NAI coming from her
-She seemed to be trying pretty hard to get us to make good decisions about use of abilities, not in a way that was needlessly shadethrowing (which could be a BD tactic if you legitimately think someone is evil, but could also be an evil tactic to divert suspicion), in a way that seemed genuinely helpful (presumably an evil player would, e.g., be super happy to waste invest checks on things like ‘I thought they were MM, so I checked them, and they showed BD’)
-One of the big things I noticed was that she was trying subtly to point out where we had misread/misinterpreted things (e.g. pointing out that occ/debbing the MM wouldn’t work), but not outright saying it – this is part of what led me to read her as likely something important, because she wasn’t outright saying it, she was phrasing it as a question (also, a decent number of her nudges related to the Who Does The Prince Jail question)
-To be honest I don’t actually remember my full reasoning here I just remember Isoing her and coming to the conclusion that she was probably BD, I guess this post weill be less helpful than intended)

How to townread Priestess:
-Priestess always likes neuts, just ignore that
-Priestess was being helpful but differently from how evils would be helpful
-Priestess was being helpful but in subtle ways

The thing is that, you’ll be forced to CS immediately and you can’t kill who you should kill to further your win condition. And if whoever they try to force you to kill happens to be BD, you’re also outed.
Having said that, I will obviously claim Knight as NK next match

Further prove my point that you shouldn’t trust noble’s mechanical confirmation.
I admit that is first time having scorned claimed noble rather than any other investigative class.
I mean, a lot of us are doing both, there isn’t that much of a difference, just other emphasis.
I actually am experiencing that right now, since I am watching the rising chinese ToL community.
