Why do they need to be covering for eachother? Why can’t it just be one person covering for the other? I don’t think Dat and Kai communicated before this (which is why I think he’s Fool/Scorned) and Kai saw it as an opportunity to keep a cultist alive and kill off paladin. Actually it’d probably be in Dat’s best interest to have Kai lynched here if he’s fool.

You don’t need actual communication between groupscum and NE. I proved that last FoL game.

Rolled Fool, got into town circle. Assassin was caught, I was VERY confident he was assassin, I outted as “drunk” and pretended I’d redirect assassin but didn’t.

NEs have the greatest benefit of covering for outted scum.
