FoL Feedback Thread

I’d say in a conversion game, you have the opportunity to be a wolf whilst also experiencing the village mindset that ever slightly dips when you get converted, the best converts are players who will continue to play as if they weren’t converted. For instance if I thought Solic was a wolf and he converts me and I suddenly TR him. I’m going to be next if I’m lynched.
I’ve used this sort of mindset when I get converted in TOL of not changing my stance if I get converted and very often villa will just auto-clear you of being converted

btw according to states the winrate is about 61% BD vs 39% scum win. Not perfect, but not bad either.

Except for the NK. Who apparently has literally never won.

Nk struggles to win because you need to have an extremely strong start and keep the ball rolling

Yeah I know why NK doesn’t win.

Doesn’t stop me from pointing it out

If I made Pk auto win in F5
What happens

has alch been given decent and fun abilities yet

They are actually an impactful role now.

Well I don’t think you need a pretender anymore

We really don’t need pret like ever

I meant that king elections will have a bit more tension

Oh.
I think it’s fair to give Pk something like that as well.

Thoughts on giving starting kings a gladiate to use on d1s or never?

Never.
We don’t do d1 lynches and Grand Trial is already well balanced alongside being interesting

Can we just like, delete Fool or at least revert it back to it’s old wincon.

Fool is highly useless being like this in my personal opinion.
Your goal was to make Fool have skill, this Fool literally has no skill and only luck. All it has is guesses on who is scum and who isn’t or scum-reading to try and figure it out, sure, scum-reading is a skill but can be heavily flawed.

He has a cop check

No. It’s social deduction. That is scumreading…

Summary:

Reaper can see the number of his souls now.
Reaper gains the potential to gain occupy/redirection immunity over manipulating logbooks which is more Possessor’s niche. This also makes NK’s almost universally occupy/redirection immune, which is the design we’d aim for. Reaper doesn’t have it by default, but makes it up for it by being flexible.

The Cult Alt Physician was one of the weakest. Taking bleed immunity is now stronger and will be kept through becoming Cult Leader/Devout King and will also stop poison. The main ability is now also able to heal, so converting bleeding players with Physicians alive is actually a viable strategy. A converted Physician should also still have healing in some capacity.

Maid can no longer find NK’s. To compensate they gain Rumor, which allows them more flexibility, and also gives them ways to bounce back from being blocked/jailed night 1. In addition the cult alt was very weak and has been given a frame and a stronger matchmake to put them in line with other cult alt investigatives. Cult also had no frames yet, which is bad for claimspace. Handmaiden gained a buff in Matchmake.

Read the summary.

I was still writing it.

I’d love some feedback on it, since the private team was in hibernation for these changes.
