Disagree with this, LT was scumsided enough that even if people had only claimed when it was actually a good idea, it still would have been a loss

In particular, Marshal never died, so the only ACM that actually took effect were (a) being able to automatically strongman me, (b) the one that was kind of like a tracker/watcher

and me claiming was actively a good play because otherwise I would have been mislynched, and the tracker/watcher effect didn’t make a super big difference

Not really, it was a problem with vulgard and I. Arete didn’t play badly.
I played horribly by making terrible posts for no reason, and Vulgard scumread me to hell and also Arete by association because of that.
It wasn’t a problem with Arete, just me.

The only way I was surviving was by fakeclaiming something confirmable, not something powerful

The Prince was already dead, so I couldn’t do that and ask the “Justi” to prove

if I could do it over again I’d claim Noble with a bounty on Solic but I wasn’t confident enough in my scumread of him at the time

In any case, if a single specific PR dying N2 guarantees a town loss then your set-up is really scumsided

Cop9 (for instance) is literally designed around the role of the cop and them dying N2 doesn’t mean town automatically loses

Yes, but they would not have known that they were the Justicar, or be able to bypass their protection. And if they had claimed something that is NOT F*CKING UNIQUE, they could’ve also lived.
