Hereā€™s another reason - the faction that wins more easily will have a much higher occurrence

Literally this plus metagaming it are already enough reason to tank it

And defending it with ā€œoh you could WIFOM itā€ doesnā€™t work because A: it will still be a point of debate in-game and B: if you do go with what you wouldnā€™t have chosen youā€™re likely picking the faction you like less, defeating the whole purpose of doing this in the first place.
