You say you think this game should be about having fun but you don’t care if others don’t have fun?
I wouldn’t do that exclusively, I’d attempt to have the person change their mind.
If they lack the ability to see I’m town then yes, silencing them is the only option to ensuring my survival.

Both can have contributed or maybe it’s just really good scum play.
Fact is if you get mislynched multiple times. Adapt and do something else and listen to advice, because in most cases being mislynched is -EV for your faction.

If someone is mislynched as Town and has attempted to have the Town win, why exactly is it their fault?
Everything they have done has the potential to come from Town.
It is the Town’s fault they have failed to understand that their play comes from Town.
Or it’s the mislynched person’s fault for failing to convince others of a better lynch.

If a player really tried, don’t give them the fault.
We have way too many people who don’t even try.
No, it’s the fault of the players for attempting to lynch that person in the first place.
People need to convince themselves there is a better lynch.
You can’t magically find scum. Either you deflect on another BD or die yourself. That’s the current forum meta from what I’ve seen.

That’s bad because firstly it’s not true and secondly, you’d hinder yourself from improving and growing as a person if you’ve have a more external locus of control.
Letting things happen to you instead of making them happen is just a very distasteful way to live life and play mafia in my opinion.
