Or what you mean by shadowhydra
a mentor who does not post but gives friendly advice to a newbie
What is actually the intention of spec chat? Its almost never getting used much
Thatās still gonna be bad
just so that people who are spoiled can watch the game go down as it happens as a show of support for the game.
We dont inform specs tho cuz there were too many cheating incidents
So people can talk about how all players in game are bad for not doing something they think is obvious
If only people followed the rules
i mean thatās part of the appeal of the game isnāt it
discussing how bad the living players are in deadchat
who are we to deny that to non-players
So non-players have a place to discuss the game that will not influence actual players.
If Iād see eevee say in the cookie thread that x is obviously scum in a game, where Iām playing and eevee is not playing, I might be influenced by that.
And, correct me if Iām wrong, I think informing spectators is still a host choice.
I think its standard now to not inform specs in classic fols
Iām pretty sure nobody reviewed it
Hell yeah.
I need a mentor
I think Nfol would be cool if you had either newbs hydra with vets, or maybe had like a vet in scumchat helping scum, etc
Not every game I can participate, or have the time to fully commit to even backing up. So when I get a little bit of time and try to read I like to give my thoughts to see if Iām right later
Itās a host discretion thing. Usually based on trust and making sure that those players if informed are allowed 0 interaction with game. While if uninformed they can still backup

Full hydras are bad tho for the newbies. They need some tips, some ideas, not someone who forces them into a meta
