FoL Feedback Thread

Replacing out in those instances is often necessary to “continue the fun” for everyone else

Because just like if somebody doesn’t contribute in a different medium (let’s say a project), a person who cannot reasonably make time to post can often ruin the game for everyone else

I played fol even in hospital. Leaving is just ruining the game for everyone. Slanking is just a “yea I have no time on a day or two, but Im not gonna let you down”

I think most people don’t have the expectation that you need to do that

Idc what others think but Im not a thrower. Ill never leave alive.

Why is it in the forums the opposite as in tol? Just curious

I think you’re drawing a false dichotomy based off bad experiences with individual players.
The majority of players replacing out aren’t doing it out of a desire to ruin the game. Quite the opposite in fact

ToL is short form
Therefore everyone should reasonably be able to be able to play the entire game

it seems you assume hosts are heartless monsters who want you to suffer
well yes but actually no
yes as in-making closed setups to where there vig is useless 90% of the game :^)
but no as in-making sure you find the right balance between irl and life
if you have an issue pop up i will drive out and personally beat the host if they refuse to let you replace out

But everyone is able to play a game, maybe he has to slank 2 or 3 days but who cares. Its just important that you dont give up.

(I know there are some times when replacing out is 100% justified, like when you get mental problems with it)

Slanking 2 or 3 days often can break the back of most games.

But Im a player for fun, not to win
I prefer to play with the same people, the victory isnt that important. Also I noticed that replacing out pressures player to do replace out when their plays arent good enough

playing with slankers isn’t fun

The host lied about his setup. Ive said this before. No need to discuss this.

How is it bad?

Ok
That’s out of context if we are going to be entirely fair

I wanted to refrain to call her out, thanks.
