Honestly, as i see both of them cleared DatBird mostly because he hardclaimed Sheriff. The read completely relies on the fact DatBird wouldn’t clear somebody in such fashion. If i can say something, that’s really naive.
Geydes point was that dat did say to Check alice because he thought I was sus of her(I said to Use swear fealty on her) he said that he thought it was negative ability

Holy crap, i knew Geyde is quite simple-minded but c’mon, it seems like DatBird may made an poor excuse and Geyde just refused to consider it may come from scum. Like there was nothing that would indicate that alternative solution is impossible.
Reasoning is that he wouldnt lie on as scum since it would get immideatly attention to him especially in a way that would be immideatly called out
And he would have checked ability if he was to make sure first case doesnt happen
In other words DatBird as scum would never did something that brings attention to him. Even though he already did as i had him on my radar since D1 buuut okay.

Hi everyone checked Kai last night since he was IN Alice’s list she gave towards EoD. Another green check. As sheriff I usually put my scout target on the same person I scout night 1 so if they are green checked i can see if they get converted later. So it was on Alice and it said she was visited by the unseen, and now shes dead so they killed her since she was green checked I guess.
Yeah because honestly I didnt read them as scum, they werent a town leader but other than that I didnt see them being scummy. Sorry my reads arent the best

Wouldnt that just undermine the point of the scout, if I told everyone no scum would ever go target Alice unless it was a kill. With it hidden I could see if she was converted if she was still alive at the beginning of a day. Plus people said said I shouldnt have outed my green check as it is so I didnt want to just give everyone I knew out.
