Hyper-turbo formats such as TOS/TOL the demand for heavy feedback is increased, the skill set you use for them and FM is similar, the biggest difference is youā€™re forced to rely more on reads than mechanics.

Agreed. However FoL generally has not been like that until we remove enough scum to make it so.

The wolf play here was really bad too. Eg lack of bleed

That ironically made me confirmable

Bad wolf play can also lead to confirms just like regular FM

Idk, I probably just have the wrong attitude, but I never cared about playing completely perfect. I do try to play good, but I know I will often fail in this, so itā€™s more important for me to have a fun and non-toxic game.

I donā€™t see 1 often.

I see way too much talking about mechanical fluff.

And honestly, a lot of ā€œwolfhuntingā€ here is purely level 1.

Thereā€™s no VCA, no NKA, no putting the thread flow into account, no associative reads, no motivation reads, and whatnot.

A lot of it just mechanics and meta reading.

Iā€™d assume that this goes for more experienced players. A lot of people here know how to wolfhunt, but not exactly how to do it at a higher level.

Gee itā€™s almost as if people come in with hardly knowledge of these things and that thereā€™s not enough people who are willing to put in the effort to help people learn these things.

Consider the poker analogy of regulars vs recreationals, regulars play to consistently win. Recreationals play to have fun but obviously have more leaks

Sheā€™s mentioned it, a good majority of people here need focused 1 on 1 help, newbie hydra was an okay idea but if itā€™s all veterans talking instead of say advising itā€™s hard to constructively build a play style at all

I know someone in here said there shouldnā€™t be wolfy villagers butā€¦ In my case, I canā€™t exactly help it. I was only seen as Town because I got mechanically confirmed and thatā€™s kind of a shame since the person that largely read me as Town at first was a wolf
