So if Kai did attack End but didn’t immediately kill the warlock it’s perhaps he redirected cold steel to me. However I got the answer how I lived and Kai would have died if Gikkle is Knight so he’s different type of protector.

So he lied about redirecting Kai because I don’t think Cultists would try to look Mincin as BD diguised Cult Leader unless Baz and End the demon bleeded.

Just did a little research. If EotW is Warlock, then Kai would be lying about CS. Warlock is immune to death once, but not if attacked by BD.
