…it kind of helped that most people didn’t really bother to question it, and also being bi I could technical-truth my way into misleading them
same for me but with atheism. Obviously not as big as the gay, but having to bow down on your knees and chant to a deity you don’t beleive in for your whole life so that you can afford college obviously helps.

my school was like obsessed with who was gay/straight/whatever and i dont like making a big deal out of being gay IRL so i didn’t like being open with it so yea
im half-in half-out with religion but i do enjoy going to church as i enjoy the people there
I think it has to do with activity more for the inherently-scummy people than the inherently villagery ones, being high-activity won’t get you townread but not bothering to read the thread, writing a handful of posts, and refusing to make reads will get you scumread
This just says that there’s a lot wrong with the current way of scumreading
