It’s not as important.
Just know, Maxwell, as host it’s important to be fair and proportional

That’s because you had a post restriction and attempted to increase it artificially by editing.

yes, as I said multiple times before, eevee assumed I was intentionally attempting to circumvent the post restriction and this assumption was unequivocally false

I mean, you did avoid the post restriction. You just didn’t think you did.

I mean, it’s common sense :woman_shrugging: I’d prefer warnings than modkills for a single edit, but your case was so major that a warn wouldn’t have been sufficient

I explained this here

You did though.
Your intention was good, but you still commited the offense.
That’s why the edit was a modkillable offense.

I get the point, but I disagree.

If you’re just normally talking irl, you can slip up and quickly correct yourself while remaining authentic. If you go back a day later and are like I never said that, I meant this, it’s obstructing communication.

Yes, and I agree with me getting modkilled,
I was just trying to explain that it wasn’t intentional like eevee claimed it was.

Oh. I see. Well, that wouldn’t have been modkillable if post restrictions weren’t enabled tbh.

People who get themselves modkilled intentionally shouldn’t just be modkilled; they should be blacklisted.
An illegal action doesn’t need to be intentional to get modkilled for it; in most cases, it isn’t. All of mine were due to ignorance.

I mean, if you try to argue that this wasn’t intentional…

going to be honest maxwell is one of those people that I would trust when they say whether it was or not intentional

Yes, I trust Maxwell in this, that it was really not intentional.
(It’s still blatant)

Me

System didn’t record that

I believe what Priestess is saying here is that the edit was (obviously) intentional - not what Maxwell’s intent with the edit was.

Let me clarify.

I did intentionally edit the post, but I wasn’t intentionally trying to get modkilled, because I considered the fixing of typos and the fixing of the unintended omission (of Vulgard/PoisonedSquid’s Slot) of information from my PoE explanation post to be equivalent to the quickediting out of typos that I have seen so many people do and get away with. The difference is, I made sure that both of my edits were system-recorded, because as I said, I consider system-recorded edits to be a much lower level of integrity breach than quickedits.

Technically with the information you edited in, yes, it’s less of an integrity breach as it’s documented.

However with the information you edited in it should have been on a seperate post.

This is why I don’t believe it would have been modkilled without the post restriction.
