Again, why specifically NE, and not just scum?
Scum being intentionally aggressive is pulling themselves out of the shadows and putting a Lynch/jail onto themselves potentially. It’s like walking into a police station waving a gun…you wouldn’t do it unless you don’t have risk of dying. Or your death benefits scum.
Okay
Yesterday I had a townlean on Jake because of this post:
I thought this post was highly unlikely to come from scum, because although he’s wrong, it didn’t seem like the sort of incorrect take to come from scum – if Luxy were his partner he wouldn’t want to implicate him like that and if he weren’t it would make more sense to push the narrative that it’s TvS and use that to get 2 mislynches.
In royal chat Luxy said that having played scum twice with Jake before, he thought this was typical of Jake’s scum meta – basically, that W!Jake normally pops into the thread with poorly-thought-out takes and doesn’t explain them at all, and that that’s what he thinks Jake was doing here. I pointed out the framing thing that I mentioned earlier and he said that W!Jake likes to do that because he thinks weird takes are townie. In any case, it’s Jake we’re talking about, so it’s hard to be sure, but I do actually think that in his town games he provides more explanation for his points even if they make no sense.
We also briefly discussed him randomly bringing up the NK yesterday; we had the thought that it could give him decent NK equity, since he’s randomly bringing it up for no reason. Luxy also thought it was an example of him trying to appear productive without actually being productive.
Me being aggressive on a push is NAI
Have you heard of the concept of powerwolfing?
Counterpoint Jake has wolf pop ins as both
For what it’s worth this is basically what Derps does every game, and I do think he’s playing more like his town game than his scum game
I have. To powerwolf, you have to build a convincing argument against your target though.
His argument: “So and so scum, exe”
Definitely not powerwolfing.
I won’t play scum the same I did in CoC btw
If that’s how he plays that’s fine, but it’s an anti-town move. He’s gotta cut that out.
What Luxy (who has played with Jake) thought is that he’s more likely to explain his points as town, even when they’re silly, while as scum he struggles to do that
He’s still only a lean because Jake is inherently scummy all the time but I do think Luxy has a point
I don’t try to read jake anymore tbh its too hard
I have a “gut feeling” Sam is wolf. Do I just randomly push for exe and ignore all other potential scum? And I actually have reasoning.
Just because his arguments aren’t convincing, doesn’t mean he can’t be pushing for a mislynch on someone who was scumread by multiple people D1.
AFAIK, Derps has been in the PoE in every game of his, so scum could use him to push a mislynch, and bus him if it backfires.
Well now I see why lmao.
If he always goes into PoE and I’m straight up telling him WHY, I’d imagine others have too?
Derps: Why not change it up so you don’t get mislynched in future games?
I rarely get myslynched
Well your behavior isn’t indicative of groupscum or NK. It’s indicative of NE. If I were a Knight, I’d probably nightvig you.
Wait, I just noticed something. Scumslips are a joke, but I’d like @SirDerpsAlot to explain how these posts are compatible.
Those seem so obvious of slips. This is SCREAMING NE.
I mean Derps slips even as BD
