We got some interactions between frost and vulgard
and some shuri action, as well as possesed and derps.
I like that we got those frostvul interactions. And i don’t think that happens with arete constantly interjecting and being like “@nerd answer my question nerd”
because with arete as a presnece, we are kinda always going where arete wants to go, answering arete’s questions, talking about arete.
Just not healthy because honestly atp i don’t have a good grasp on the rest of the nerds because all i can focus on is arete

Trying to frame everything as “arete is the saviour of thread, and oppostion to lord arete is bad” I mean arete claims disliking the 3 people who scumread arete the most because of their “bad reasoning for it” but it’s obviously because we scumread arete.
Aretes dominance of the threads direction isn’t optimal, I agree, but… you can just, not talk about Arete. Or try to, at least. Like, nobody else tried leading the thread.
I don’t think Arete is going to dominate the thread Day 2 though. Once info starts rolling in, some people should start being more active. I hope.

Cmon, I don’t see actually any reason here to shut Arete down yet. Plus, it doesn’t matter for today, theres no lynch
I get that… but i’m not talking about just me. When someone comes on for 10 minutes and arete pings them with a meh question, that time is wasted. I don’t think arete is actually helping any reads be generated. I think arete is just using AtE and Omgus and hyperposting to get their point across.
If Arete starts dominating Day 2, that’s when it’ll become a real problem IMO.
Although them scumreading all of the people scumreading them is… well, it’s something.

the justification you and Luxy have given for this is that I’ve explained acronyms to the newbies in the thread (something which I do as both alignments) and that I’ve … been asking them questions? not been hardpushing them? I guess?

in some cases (such as Shurian’s) I have initially suspected them, voiced my concerns, and come to the conclusion that actually they are V

scumreading people who are also scumreading you isn’t inherently scummy, it’s scumreading people for scumreading you that’s the problem
for example in Looming Threat, a game in which I notably was town, I scumread Tele for her terrible arguments for scumreading me (she was V there but that’s not the point)
this bullet point really summarizes why I think scum wants me out
scum doesn’t like that I’m trying to take this thread places. they’re perfectly happy to let this thread just die to inactivity
I’m trying to make that not happen, which means I’m a threat to them
but they don’t actually have good arguments, so the closest thing they can come up with is ‘Arete is trying to dominate threadspace’
