I don’t like that nobody is talking about Vulgard’s reads, I’ve been waiting to see if people would analyze their D1 reads to determine who most likely killed them. To my surprise, everyone just ignored them, I think this is indicative of at least one of their scumreads being correct.
From what I could tell, they were scumreading Katze and Possessed D1.
This post could also be relevant.
Katze is currently a slight town lean for me and Squid is null. I would like to see more content from both of them.
The most likely to be scum out of those three is Possessed, IMO.
Here he rolefishes the person who Shurian was linked with.
No, it means scum can start distancing from the start of the day.
He says this, despite being told that it’s better to only out redchecks later in the day, to gauge reactions and make associations.
More rolefishing, this time on SirDerpsAlot. Well, technically it’s not a different person than last time, but they didn’t seem to know that.
Here, he says he thinks Derps is NE.
Then he backtracks on it, and says it depends on his response. Later he’ll go back to NE-reading him for being aggressive.
Why wouldn’t they be able to? If they couldn’t, Mystic would immediatly be outed upon conversion.
I feel like he was trying to fake townslip with this.
Why would Arete force their reads as town? It’s not like they were under pressure to give reads, and they’re expercienced enough to give them naturally. He also never explains why they feel forced, this was probably to discredit Arete.
So far, their only read seems to be SirDerpsAlot, I’ve been trying to determine whether his NE read on them comes from TMI that he’s not scum, or just from bad townplay.
My conclusion is that it likely comes from TMI, because he doesn’t want to read him as anything other than NE. He probably doesn’t want to read him as scum because he knows Derps’ won’t flip scum. I think he’s trying to seem productive without actually having to fake scumreads.
He acts like he understands that Derps’ behavior isn’t necessarily NE-indicative, but then goes right back to calling him NE in his next post.

which indicates he has TMI that Derps is a mislynch here, despite seeming pretty confident he’ll flip NE.
I think it’s most likely Marshal is his partner. I was going to write a wallpost on Marshal aswell, but I see that Arete has also just posted a wallpost on him.
I just want to add that he’s trying to silence/discredit the biggest town leaders with bad reasoning, and that I think he’s buddying with Luxy because they are incorrectly scumreading Arete.
I don’t know who the convert is, since not everyone has posted enough to compare to their D1, assuming they managed to succesfully convert someone.
I think Marshal is a better lynch association-wise, but writing this wallpost burned me out to much to check. I’ll probably lurk for an hour or so while doing homework, ping me if you want me to explain something more.
tl;dr I’m positive that Possessed is scum, andcurrently think Marshal is his partner.

The irony is Marshal is one of my Scumreads, along with Sam. I think Sam is a bit higher right now though.
I do like the analysis you gave so far though Jgoes. I brushed it but it does look like in-depth analysis, even though you’ve been tunneling me since the day started.
Few comments: That behavior might be NAI for Derps, but it IS usually indicative of alignment normally. I’m not making exceptions, sorry.
Friendly advice for future games, and notice that I don’t have a NE as lynch priority.
I don’t think any offensives should out their occupies or redirects, but if there’s any reason to suspect that this isn’t a Cult game I think they should do the same action again.
From then to now, I think the only major change is that I’m more scumleaning SDA, their tone today has been atrocious. I need more time to make a new list, though. So that’s probably coming tomorrow. (irl, not D3)
With the hindsight of Vulgard being a dead BD, this certainly does look bad.
But… would Marshal kill Vulgard, being the only person to really push on Vulgard at all? Killing one of your main scumreads doesn’t make sense. I can’t speak for Marshals skill level but that really doesn’t feel like a play any average level player would do.
