some neutrals aren’t that fun
but scorned/inq type neuts are fun
The good part about being neutral is that you usually don’t have to put up with people’s shit. You aren’t their buddy and can really just do away with them if they even look at you funny.
Neutral Perks:
- You are solely responsible for your own wincon and nobody else’s.
- You can pull off ridiculous plays with little to no true repercussions.
- If you’re one of those “I enjoy making correct reads” people you can try to play for town and if you’re wrong…who cares?
- It doesn’t sting when you get nightkilled like it does as BD. It actually feels like an accomplishment for being TRed.

i think ToL’s survivor alch might be a bit bland, being another survivor neut in the sea of neuts that just have to s u r v i v e, but it’s definitely better than “heal people or you lose” because it’s not impossible
also you get to murder people
You got Fool who you can completely manipulate town into believing an entire narrative with your execution.
You got Warlock who you can look for killer softs and throw kills on people.
You got Sellsword who you can also manipulate the gamestate with.
The fun comes from finding softs and manipulating town with them.
So you basically like scum but don’t like the burden that comes with playing scum

Well survivor alch isn’t fun, but manipulative scum alch is.
I used to bomb ppl N3 and put a princes note. HILARIOUS.
I like playing anything but BD, but playing scum is stressful knowing that you could be caught at any second
I don’t want to have 2-3 neut slots in games as that buffs scum substantially (large amount of anti town neuts)
Would flat 2 neutrals be alright
That’s difficult though. You have to maintain the same level throughout the game; I find that stressful personally.

If you’re one of those that finds the fun in making correct reads as town, fine. I personally don’t enjoy it as much as ruining the gamestate.
