That doesn’t disqualify him from being a wolf (for instance, Seeker), but it doesn’t disqualify his result. I can’t reasonably disqualify his result when I know it has to be correct given the class type on my class card, conjecture or not.
Me proving it has nothing to do with either of our alignments, I’m just putting my information out there so everyone knows this before I die to bleed.
…Honestly, there is something I could see here. Derps, as starting Seeker, checks the Neut claim because it’s a neutral and it might be worth knowing which neutral exactly (since from his POV, I could actually be NK, for instance). He realizes I’m S/I and suspects that makes me Inq (maybe?) or a potential mislynch because I lied (more likely). Therefore he pushes me for towncred while hardclaiming.
We don’t have to be wolves together for Derps to push me if he’s wolf. He could also just be V (which I still believe more). I don’t think pairing us, especially as a preflip, is a good idea.
The point of confirming you are S/I observer has nothing to do with Derps and everything to do with getting a heal, which you shouldn’t be getting.
Yes, correct. Its possible he was Seeker pulling that move, but I don’t see a Seeker wasting a check on someone dying either. If you flip Observer, ill just chalk this up to Derps being a Derp but if you flip CL, that’s a different story. It makes more sense that Derps isn’t actually Princess/Alch/Seeker than it does for him to be one of those.
How exactly does confirming Derps’ check on me get me a heal? In all honesty, confirming the check was an afterthought. I didn’t make this up just to match his check, that would be dumb. The check had already been discredited by that point, by me. My thought process would have to be something like this:
Also, I just agreed with you that letting me die is probably the most pro-BD thing that can be done here.
I won’t deny I did want a heal, but I’m slowly coming to terms with the fact it might be better to let me die.
Also, there’s no reason for me to keep up the FPS until the end of the day if I’m going to die. It’s better if I put all my cards on the table and claim everything that’s real before kicking the bucket.

If you still flipped CL, Derps gets the towncred.
Also, your pairing makes no sense for another reason; if Derps was bussing me, I wouldn’t self-pres. If you’re saying I outed myself as Observer just to get a heal, then it makes little sense, because it’s an effort to get a heal (and to not be lynched). Why would I bother if Derps was already bussing me? I would want him to have a hand in getting me killed. I wouldn’t want to live through his push because that makes things worse for both of us.
I mean, its a win/win.
You get healed, you can maybe get a mislynch before you get discovered and give Derps towncred.
You don’t, Derps still salvages the team by getting towncred.
Hypothetically, if I survived tonight, what would you begin to suspect? I know I won’t, but hypothetically.
You’d have to be NK or some dummy healed you tonight. I don’t think Marshal is lying about the bleed.
