I went along with this because I thought it was worth pressuring Squid on this. I considered that there was a possibility that it might be a misread but I wanted to see how Squid responded. I didn’t like how Squid responded.
This feels artificial TBH and I think Chloe missed that a slip is unintentional. I have a feeling that a possible reason for this could be wolf alignment - it doesn’t feel very solvey. Can be seen as whiteknighting or scumprotecting.
I don’t like this post. Devil’s advocate isn’t too big of an issue here, but why did Chloe feel obligated to be that “someone”?
The interaction could be W/W but I don’t think it is, I agree with Chloe here. However, this post feels black and white. It somewhat implies that if Chloe/Squid isn’t a scumteam, then there is no reason to suspect them. The issue is that I can totally see this coming from a wolf.

I agree with this post. There is also something to say about Squid believing likewise here, though I don’t know what it means.
To be fair, it’s really hard for me to voice all my thoughts and there is some confirmation bias here. But my gut is telling me that this isn’t V/V.
What are the possibilities? I think it’s most likely that Chloe is a wolf here. If not, Squid is. I don’t think both of them are wolves, but that’s still possible.
