I would have to agree with this. Scum do need to pay attention more than Town, otherwise they die. It’s as simple as that.

We don’t know if any Vets did, but if any had…you’d be targetted tonight even if I said nothing. What I did was put attention on you and let scum know that I might heal you tonight if you’re Paladin. Now they have to WiFoM you to see if you’re a good kill instead of KNOWING you would be unprotected.

bottom line, if you’re town (which you aren’t, so this is for future games), if you think you see a town soft you 100% keep it to yourself

there’s a mild inconsistency between their post that was roughly “town can’t see softs and mafia can” (not exactly it) and “vets are looking for softs”
if vets roll town, then suddenly town can see softs again and their previous point is null

Your job as town isn’t to look for softs. You do t catalog who is what…you just look for scum and you look for town. This applies to Vets too.

I don’t think Possessed was saying only scum notice to soft claims. He pointed out that scum usually pay more attention to soft claims than town do.

If you weren’t looking for softs, why did you think that town wouldn’t see my soft either?
This logic doesn’t follow. You shouldn’t be in a scenario where this happens as town. It is extremely likely that you are scum for pushing it.

If the right protective notices your soft then you are fine. 9 times out of 10, they don’t…and this applies to Veterans too because THEY ATENT LOOKING FOR SOFTS.

Your soft wasn’t subtle. Be that as it may, others might not notice it…but you can bet scum will unless they are new. Rather not chance that if you were legit.

I was just about to remark something regarding this. Poss’ play is baffling and makes no sense from a V PoV, but at the same time it’s not really accomplishing any wolf agenda either. He did something similar to this in Evolution Mafia, but it was done as he was trying to pull a ML on a low-hanging fruit. Here… I just don’t see any reasoning why W!Poss would repeatedly get into a heated argument with you about your softs as it furthers no agenda.
