You got your checks, whether it was Katze or me was not important. You don’t trust Katze but you find my corpse more convincing when you could have try to figure out why I am so focused on you and why I want to sound like I did something to you and look after TBE revealing I didn’t check Arete and deconstruct the entire reality of Arete being Possessor and me being “Princess” who didn’t talk like one or any investigative and knew I am about to die.
I mean this is why I townlocked you, because you insisted on making a read on Vulgard in accordance to your own logic.
Which is why it felt agenda-free.
But us in spec chat found a couple of things and we also scumread him based on that. I’m pretty sure you might have found more objective arguments and actually believed in their scuminess without subjecting yourself to confirmation bias.
I wouldn’t expect players to be blindly trusted by your reads, they don’t know either of your alignments and there is always the possibility you could be wrong
Again, people like to make reads themselves rather than just sheep.

I think something as simply just bring in games where he was town (and quoting them) compared to the current game is enough to make people very skeptical of him. You can tell people to go read Vulgards other games but most people won’t or will have trouble trying to quickly grasp what a town!Vulgard looks like. It’s more meaningful if you provide a simpler explanation to them.
We can see that katze’s “go read Vulgards town games” wasn’t convincing.
Neither was gortas “go read Marshals and katzes D1” in Hydra Mafia.
And only a very few actually townread him for his early game. His reads and conclusions weren’t that strong and his logic was clearly lacking in some areas.
Also I know you wanted people to just sheep you but it really isn’t that simple.
It doesn’t feel good to sheep someone against your own beliefs.
Literally everyone wants to believe or somewhat believe in the vote they are casting.
Likewise, I did a bad job of convincing people that Arete was a wolf in Hydra Mafia.
My read was incorrect (that’s not the point though) and my casing failed (this is the point).
It was for a different reason (the same reason why Enigma was very confused in Anon Mafia F3), my arguments were littered with conf!bias.
And you wouldn’t necessarily need to mechsolve my slot other than contradicting TBE’s results, you need have time to read.
Vulgard was alive longer than he should have. He would have died in this game already if he were town.
