FoL23 - Dead Chat

*starting Assa, not convert

Rip BD

Unseen win.

I mean it was also true of the convert

How did they get to hammer with four votes??? is there an Aristo somehow managing to exist? I checked the Fool classcard and it doesnā€™t say anything about reduced votecounts.

I mean, it doesnā€™t matter, because Maxwell made it first, but.

King I think.

His vote only counts for two, though. Hammer was announced before Maxwell voted.

oh nevermind, I misread

Itā€™s so weird how king vote counts for two even during a GT.

Yeah, it should probably be changed for the next FoL as itā€™s Evils getting majority at the start of d3 after a Fool was lynched d2 and the NK was jailed and executed by the Prince is really, really bad mechanics-wise.

This is several degrees worse than what happened in NFoL2 since we had no mislynches and all neutrals were dead so they couldnā€™t scumside.

I know in ToL (which still has trials as a standard mechanic) king votes for execution/pardon only count for 1, itā€™s just getting them up on the stand where the king vote counts as 2 (or, can count).

This seems pretty reasonable, from a balance perspective.

Yeah, I think this needs to be changed.

It makes the King way too strong when you start getting to mid-game and later.

If you want to see some hilariously bad reads, check out basically all of death chat before Dat voted you, in which I managed to tinfoil you as obvious Mastermind faking Prince.

I feel like a lot of peopleā€™s reads were sort of off this game tbhā€¦

ā€¦Maybe just me though.

Poss managed to close his tonal gap and Dat was actually having some semi-fluid posts regardless of the lack of conclusions, so it was more of Unseen playing better than average than BD playing bad.

And also mechanically this game was kind of busted.

D2 had a lynch on a neutral, N2 had a kill on another neutral.

And the D3 lynch was effectively a contest of which team had all their members show up to win the game.

Now Iā€™m really curious why Eevee fakeclaimed Prince, especially given that, it not being a Possessor game, they knew the ā€˜Sog was Possessedā€™ theory had to be false.

What was the theory behind the claiming you were prevented N1 thing? Were you just hoping to get H_Hja to out that they were jailed, or were you trying to make your Princiness less obvious, or what?
