Yeah, to me, it seems comparable to a board game with turn-by-turn movement.
Also, I reformatted the tower map thing so it might be a little easier to visualize. Sounds like you just move along the tower grid with up, down, left, and right.

Tbf I backread the previous fortified tower game a while back so I do sort of understand how it works

Haha, yeah, this is why I struggle with what to put in the OP. Some people like Zone want every little detail. Then a lot of others hate to see more than like a couple short sentences and maybe a pic. Might be best to just hide most of the post in a big hidden detail block.
