In PMs? Hmmmm, I haven’t played this actual game.
But I think it’d be like the ones in ToS.
So, something like:
Mole sends rolecard to you / abilit(y/ies)
During exploration phase, something like “Move to the kitchen”
This would move you there
“Search for a knife” would happen and you’d be told the results
If you want to become “Blackened” send a killing method or plan to Mole. If he accepts either your plan works or the person you attacked kills you (Depending on how things go).
Then investigation happens after we discover a body, gathering evidence.
After a while, the trial happens when we discuss alibis, evidence and whodunnit. If we’re right, they get executed and lose. If we’re wrong, we all lose and the “blackened” escapes, winning.

(Pete, for a couple of suggestions, maybe Ultimate Detective or Ultimate Programmer.
Detective could analyse crime scenes easier and find smaller details. Programmer can attempt to make an accurate interpretation of the scene)
