But Black had no access to the murder scene
He also revealed the key information about the hammer and coins. Without his testimony, the method the culprit used would be hidden
Even with my lack of finesse, I was able to make monocoins into one piece of metal using this hammer. This was definitely the method our killer used.
We don’t know Black’s talent.

Could’ve used hammer and other tools to break in perhaps, moulding a key to get to the crime scene.

Wait, 3 people? Who discovered Ici’s body? I thought it was just @FadeBlade and @Simon found the body?
But why would a blacksmith have a knife? Surely a anvil or something would be more appropriate. Also, the blacksmith cannot make a key for an unknown lock. Also, @Simon testifies that from the moment the motives were given, he was never alone.

I… see. We can exclude Black and Simon then - I doubt Monokuma would count the killer as discovering their own victim.
I am the one who came up with Ultimate Blacksmith, but yeah we can’t dismiss this - however as Monokuma said that Black and Studier are the -first- people let in authorized entry to Trash Room - so I doubt it. The Ultimate Miner have also demonstrated it’s possible to make fake knife without needing incinerator to craft the blade for it.
Oh I get it, Monokuma counts as third -witness-
but only if they see them without any of the rest of us, because otherwise it would be a dead giveaway
I shall now explain lockpicking to the whole chat.
First a bobby pin… Or lockpicks are used to push the furthest pin-up, then the lockpicker would continue to fit the pins in place toward the entrance until it all falls into place, then another bobby pin could be used to twist it, effectively opening the lock, it doesn’t require damaging the lock, at all. (PS, I know this works on most standard door locks cause I was locked out of my house not too long ago and spent 1 hour picking it)
I think what you guys are thinking of when I say “Lockpicking” is more like actually breaking the lock than picking it ;D
