Well, Prince can change imprisons while Trial’s going on.
So who knows what else is allowed to change?
I think it was stated that the FoL team decided that day abilities that affect the night can be used while a trial is going on, but that’s it. Dark Rune doesn’t affect the night, so it shouldn’t be on that list.

If we want to make doubly sure I guess Insanity could just send in the action to imprison Braixen again, should overwrite him imprisoning himself if that happened?

Dark Rune really does affect the night.
Either use it on Prince and they self imprison
Use it on Frost and he cannot block
It’s a huge disadvantage

If Jammy uses her ability on Insanity, he will imprison himself
