The question is however, why would Rope add unnecessary information about having Night Immunity when he claimed Squire to Psychic?

He probably didn’t. I imagine he just told Fruit “I’m a squire” and Fruit announced it to everyone because he knew Squire had night immunity.

Perhaps he didn’t and Fruit checked the card, and revealed it after noting the fact that he had night immunity (as he said that was the reason it was safe)
