The Archon
Neutral Social
Eminence (Passive) - You cannot be killed at night by players who are not members of the Blue Dragon.
Prominence (Day) - You will learn your target’s exact class. - Infinite uses
Decree of the Archon (Day) - Kills yourself and automatically ends the day, instantly causing the player with the most votes to be executed via majority. - One use
Deception (Night) - Replaces your target’s logs with a custom-made log of your choice when they die. - Three uses
Reshape Reality (Night) - Replaces your target’s flip with a class of your choice when they die. - One use
See the Blue Dragon defeated at any costs.
Crowns into the Spiteful King.
Archon Notes
Effectively a Neutral Evil class with the focus on flip tampering. The purpose of the Archon is to serve as a disinformation-spreader in the same vein as the Scorned that can help cast doubts on logs and flips, especially as they would already known a player’s class due to their day action so they would have a fair amount of information to create realistic logs. In addition, Decree of the Archon serves as a pressure point against Blue Dragon members as it can potentially kill the Prince if they are wagoned.
The Chancellor
Neutral Social
Malevolent Tutor (Passive) - At the start of the game, you will have two random Blue Dragon players who are not the Prince assigned to you as your Protégés. Neither Protégé will know that they are your Protégé and you will know which classes they are, and if they get converted or not. In addition, a Blue Dragon-aligned Protégé that becomes King while you are alive will become a Spiteful King instead of a Good King.
Behind the Scenes (Passive) - You cannot be killed at night by players who are not members of the Blue Dragon, and votes to you for King count as 0.
Sinister Negotiations (Day) - Sends an anonymous message to the Unseen or Cult chat. - Three uses
Defamatory Propaganda (Day) - Removes Royal Blood from a player. - 2 uses
Bodyguards (Night) - Prevents a Protégé from dying at night. - 3 uses
Nightshade Tea (Night) - If you are in the King’s chat at night, you may poison them to kill them while bypassing everything. - One use
See that a Protégé becomes King and survives until the end of the game.
Cannot mechanically become King.
Chancellor Notes
Has design inspiration coming from part of the Pretender and part of the Mercenary and the theme is pretty much based of the evil scheming chancellor trope. The playstyle here pretty much involves the Chancellor becoming a trusted towncore member, getting their Protege trusted, using their space in the towncore to kill the King, and then installing the Protege as a new King. To do this they will have a 3-shot day action that will allow them to send a message privately to the Unseen or the Cult chat, which in turn allows groupscum and the Chancellor to mutually help each other in getting the work done
While this isn’t a true Neutral Evil class per-se as they can win with the Blue Dragon, their wincon pretty much involves in converting a BD member into a Spiteful King, so their existence in general is very negative EV to the Blue Dragon.
The Crone
Neutral Offensive
Rancor (Passive) - The Crone can only roll if the Maiden rolls as well. Both the Crone and the Maiden will have the same target as a mark or a lover. This mark can be any player except the Crone, the Maiden, the King, or the Prince. If the mark dies, then both the Crone and the Maiden will commit suicide. If the mark is executed, then the Crone will win and leave the match while the Maiden will commit suicide. You cannot die at night against attacks from non-Blue Dragon players. The mark is unaware that they are the mark
Animosity (Passive) - You will know your mark’s exact class, and will be notified if they are converted.
Scolding (Day) - Prevents your mark from using day abilities for the remainder of the day. - 2 uses
Drowsiness Potion (Night) - Occupies your mark for the night, bypasses occupation immunity. - Three uses
Avoidance Potion (Night) - Prevents your mark from being visited at night except by conversions. - Two uses
Have your target executed at all costs.
Crowns into the Rancorous King.

Bitter Monarch (Passive) - Immune to occupation and redirection. Your abilities will not be seen by investigative abilities. You can use both day abilities in the same day. In addition Rancor and Animosity’s effects will remain.
Grand Trial (Day) - Instantly put a player on trial for treason lasting up to 24 hours possibly extending day. They may provide a defense within 12 hours, and then the players alive may either vote to execute or pardon. If a majority of players vote to execute, the day will end and the player on trial will be lynched. Otherwise, the day will continue as normal. - 1 use
Allies (Day) - Choose up to two players. During this night, you will have a private chat with them. - Infinite Uses
Targeted Curfew (Night) - Occupies your mark for the night, bypasses occupation immunity. - Three uses
Off-Limits (Night) - Prevents your mark from being visited at night except by conversions. - Two uses
Crone Notes
The Crone and the Maiden were inspired by psychoneirik’s Attorney, Accused, and Prosecutor classes, except with a few modifications that I made. To start, rather than making an unique neutral I made the accused player be a random player that can be anyone except either neuts or the Prince. The main issue with the Accused is that since they were a neut then there was pretty much no reason to bother with the entire trial shenanigas as they couldn’t convert, nor kill, nor be required to be executed for the BD wincon. So in order to give the two classes a more impactful existence, the accused will be a random player, which means they can be the MM, the NK, a random BD, or whatsoever.
In addition, both the Crone and the Maiden can tamper and prevent the accused from being mechanically confirmed as the Maiden can tailor and ninja the mark with the Innocence Potion while the Crone can stop them from acting via Drowsiness potion, making the game fully rely on their arguments for reads instead of mechanics.
In all both the Crone and the Maiden are supposed to open-claim, however their entire wincon relies on their target being executed or surviving, which in turn is required to interact with the game so there shouldn’t be any issues regarding what the ToL Alchemist or ToL Mercenary faces where a player can simply open-claim and not bother interacting with other for the remainder of the match.
The thematic inspiration behind these two characters are the lover/mark and the Maiden being star-crossed lovers, with the jealous Crone wanting to split these two apart.
The Crusader
Neutral Support
Requiem Aeterna (Passive) - You cannot be killed at night until you have received a win condition. Your win condition will be the same win condition as the one of the first executed player that is not a non-killing Neutral. If the first executed player was a member of the Unseen or Cult, you will join their chat. If the first executed player was a Neutral Killer, then you gain permanent night immunity. You will be informed of your new wincon even if the first execution was tailored or cleaned.
Providence (Night) - Heals a player, preventing them from dying. If you have the Unseen or Cult win condition then this will also make your target return Blue Dragon for faction checks. - Infinite uses
Dies Irae (Night) - Kills a player bypassing night immunity. You have unlimited uses of Dies Irae if you have the Neutral Killer win condition. - One use
Gain a wincon and fulfill it.
If they do not have a wincon, then they crown into the Errant King.
If their wincon is for the Blue Dragon to win, then they crown into the Good King.
If their wincon is for the Unseen to win, then they crown into the Evil King.
If their wincon is for the Cult to win, then tthey crown into the Devout King.
If their wincon is to eliminate the Blue Dragon, the Unseen, and the Cult, then they crown into the Psychopathic King.

The Monarch without a Purpose (Passive) - Immune to occupation and redirection. Your abilities will not be seen by investigative abilities. You can use both day abilities in the same day. You will become a Good King if a member of the Blue Dragon is Executed, you will become an Evil King if a member of the Unseen is Executed, and you will become a Psychopathic King if a Neutral Killer is executed.
Guard! (Night) - Choose a player. They will be immune to death tonight. - 3 uses
Become a King with a wincon and fulfill it.
Crusader Notes
In short, a Neutral Benign role who’s purpose is to prevent the game from snowballing too hard towards either side. This role has the same idea behind the ToS Amnesiac, however the fact that its alignment will automatically be decided by the first execution will make it more of a comeback mechanic than a kingmaker.
While its pro-BD wincon and skill set make it a bit too pro-BD and open-claiming viable, the catch is that this would only be possible after a d2 mislynch, which would mean that BD getting an advantage here isn’t of much balancing concerns. The kit here is somewhat JOAT-y being that they have a heal/tailor, but the KP should be enough to make it a useful Unseen/Cult role as well.
Thematically I based the Crusader off the typical wandering warrior/ronin archetype, which fits in well as he is a warrior searching for a mission and whatnot.
The Demonologist
Neutral Investigative
Traces of the Forsaken (Passive) - At the start of each day you will know who was killed by the Neutral Killer. While you are alive, the Neutral Killer will be notified of it and they will be able to select as which class to show to investigators at the start of the game and they will also be able to select who their visits will show as well. At the start of each night you will know all players who are damned.
Forsaken Armor (Passive) - You will survive the first attack on you. You will know when you are attacked alongside the class of your attacker.
Damning Aura (Day) - You will learn who your target visits tonight and who visits them and you will damn your target. Damned players will die if they visit the Neutral Killer, and they are not aware that they are damned. - Infinite uses.
Book of Devils (Night) - Select a player of your choice. If that player dies and is not the Neutral Killer, or if the Neutral Killer dies and is not the player that you selected, then you will commit suicide. If the player dies and is the Neutral Killer, then you will win and leave the match. Can be used again in other nights in order to reselect your target. - Infinite uses
Aura Theft (Night) - If your Forsaken Armor has already been used, then you will attack a damned player of your choice and reset that passive if that player was aligned with the Blue Dragon. - Infinite uses
Correctly guess who is the Neutral Killer via Book of Devils or have the Neutral Killer survive and win.

Forsaken Allies (Day) - Choose up to two players. During this night, you will have a private chat with them, learn who your target visits tonight and who visits them as well, and you will damn them. Damned players will die if they visit the Neutral Killer, and they are not aware that they are damned. - Infinite Uses
Guard! (Night) - Choose a player. They will be immune to death tonight. - 3 uses
Correctly guess who is the Neutral Killer via Book of Devils or have the Neutral Killer survive and win.
Demonologist Notes
The entire design of the Demonologist was to make a pro-NK class that at the same time did not require having the NK win as their sole wincon, otherwise it’d make it too difficult for it to be achievable. While guessing the NK’s identity is enough for a win, the safest path to victory here is to make sure the NK wins alongside you.
Despite being investigative, the Demonologist is inherently an anti-BD class as it tailors the Neutral Killer while at the same time increasing the NK’s potential KP via the Damned passive and his safest goal involves helping the NK win, so while openclaiming is possible as they can still win with the BD, it’s extremely advised against due to the sheer amount of negative utility it brings to BD.
Thematically I based the Demonologist over a scholar that studies demons creatures such as the Possessor, the Reaper, the Demon(duh), and the Mind Flayer, which fits in with its wincon here.
The Druid

Among Brethen (Passive) - None of your actions work against players who are not members of the Blue Dragon. You cannot die to attacks by players who are not members of the Blue Dragon.

Prison of the Wild (Night) - Removes your target’s passive for the remainder of the game. If they had any passives removed then you will gain 5 Nature Wisps. - One use
Acquire at least 12 Nature Wisps during the match.
Druid Notes
This was a an attempt at creating a Inq-like Neutral Chaos class that discouraged relying on mechanics in general. The Druid wins by repeatedly occupying BD-aligned classes and turning their lost actions and passives into Wisps for them to collect for their victory. The main playstyle of the Druid is to hunt for softs and predict what BD-aligned players will do in order to steal their passives and day actions.
The purpose of making the Druids’ action work on only BD-aligned players is to prevent making it an option to open-claim as otherwise it would have the same issues ToS’ Pirate has where it they can open-claim if they only target non-town players.
Thematically I based the Druid of… a Druid, it fits in with ToL’s theme, so why not?
The Fiddler
Neutral Social
The Fiddle Plays For Thee (Passive) - If you are executed, all of the players who voted to execute you will gain death immunity and occupation and redirection immunity for the current night. If you were executed by majority, then there will be a second lynch for the day.

Fiddler Notes
The Fiddler was created as one of my two takes on the Fool. The main issue two issues that made the Fool a problematic class was that it was a class that was extremely easy to win and that Blue Dragon was penalized for lynch a non-BD player. Here the wincon is changed to a more difficult one where you are required to get yourself into hot water and then get out as you acquire a significantly large enough wagon on you. In addition if the Fiddler is executed then the day does not end and an additional lynch is possible and the players who voted on the execution are rewarded
Again, this also fixes a lot of the issues regarding the Fool. It’s harder to win as the Fiddler and if they do get executed then BD gets a lot of bonuses from their first passive. Openclaiming as the Fiddler is suicide as BD can easily get rid of you without wasting any resources and then getting rewarded for it.
The Fiddler is based on insanity akin to the saying of how Nero fiddled while Rome burned. In short, only a madman would actually try to get themselves almost executed.
