No. Most games with Werewolves see many citizens and only a power role or two. Most games with Mafia have citizens, but several more power roles on both sides.

(( JammySplodge is right. The only real difference between Mafia and traditional Werewolf is thematic. Roles have an equivalent in both, e.g. seer and cop/detective or werewolf and mafioso. ))

But, the way most of these games [keyword: most] end up being structured is very different. Sure, you can give the Werewolf faction allies that have different powers, and sure, you can keep the Mafia entirely Goons, but thatās not how it usually works out.
(( My apologies for my misunderstanding of the matter. This was literally the first time Iāve ever participated in a more traditional Mafia/Werewolf game, whether on a forum or off. You definitely have more experience than I do, orangeandblack. Iād think in the case of this particular game, though, that itās a fairly typical lineup of roles for both Mafia and Werewolf, so in this case thereād be an equal chance that something like this would happen, given this situation no matter the theme. But then againā¦what would I really know about it in practice? ))
