You don’t need to support your arguments with mechanics, just invent reasons why the person is town and use that instead as ammunition to steer lynches.
That way you don’t provide a hitlist for scum if you have mechanically cleared certain players.

You knew they weren’t NK and likely not MM as offensives are still a largely confirmable mess.
It’s not a criticism pertaining to that exact game.
It’s more that if you’re an investigative, you don’t need to out your information. It’s a general advice that fits with this thread.
It’s generally considered to be +EV to simply flip-flop on whether you believe somebody to be village if you get a clear on them as investigative-type roles.
If you’ve got a type-checker/voyeur role what you really need to do is wait for the best opportunity to out and whatever you do, DON’T out it.

You also let slip that Mercenary had visited you and was thus town, because unseen would have killed you. I don’t know if you did, or they did actually.
Nonetheless, it was -EV for you to soft simply because the more information you have with that kind of comparative role the better the information is. It’s generally better for you to wait as long as possible to out your info, and when you do to out it all at once.
What do I do with that infomation? Just sort of invent reasons why Priestess is town even though I scumread them?
