I wouldn’t call Merc a BD Neutral if you ask me Alchemist is more of a BD Neutral.

I think the Baron is far too reliant on the King being killed. If the Baron survives to see the King die, he’s almost assured to be King, as most players will put up any Noble who steps up, especially since he is almost a carbon copy of Noble. I think I agree with Nuclear Burrito that if we change his goal to become king AND defeat BD it’ll be more balanced. Maybe give him a passive to stave off an attack once.

Shameless self-plug. While this originally started off as a Neutral Killer it has since evolved into something a little different, so I decided to drop the Killer tag and win-con and add it as Special (obviously can change); I guess this post here galvanized me. While working on it and reading forum feedback I saw that there were too many issues with it being a Killer (and was nightmarish and clunky to balance) so here we are: The Crone

Ultimately her goal is to have every living target Seeded with her special status, and live to see that Day. The more she Seeds, the more powerful she becomes. She needs to guess who will be alive the longest and aim to have them Seeded, better the guesses, the less time she has to struggle with being alive and her weak defenses.

I like this concept as a whole; though a dead king is very hard to come by and with no input of your own. I think having some way to frame the King is important here otherwise its a sideshow to staying alive I think; and hoping King gets the ax.

Normally I would agree but with the King being passive enough as it is, its difficult to get a King axed. You have to hope for a Reap or random Butler; or a really bad King player. It takes the skill out of the player and into everyone else’s hands. I just think that you don’t win because you played well as much as its you win because they played poorly or were unlucky.

Neutral Offensive
Masquerade (Passive) - Your visits will be not shown
Dilute Bloodlines (Passive) - Occupying player with Royal Blood lose two uses and regains 1 use of Potence
Potence (Day) - Buff your Drain Essence ability by bypassing occupation and target changing immunity (2 uses)
Drain Essense (Night) - Occupy your target that takes away one limited use
Minion (Night) - Choose target to become your Ghoul (1 use)
Your objective is to survive and see The Blue Dragon, The Unseen or The Cult lose at end of the game

The Ghoul :shield:

Neutral Special
Incognito (Passive) - The Ghoul’s original class will be shown
Vicious Cycle (Passive) - When Original Drainer dies, you become the new Drainer.
Revelation (Day) - Choose target and receive day/night feedback in next day (4 uses)
Creeping (Night) - You discover target’s immunity and informs to The Drainer
Your objective is to survive and see The Blue Dragon, The Unseen or The Cult lose at end of the game

NOTES!

1 - Drainer can’t convert Antagonist factions such as Unseen or Cult
2 - Drainer can’t convert Fool, Prince or King
3 - Ghoul becoming new Drainer can’t use Minion as it’s spend by original Drainer.
4 - When the player have no limited uses remaining while occupy attempt is made, it will always fail.
5 - When both Drainer and Mastermind or Cult Leader convert the same target, Drainer won’t lose this 1 use and fail.
6 - When you activate Potence, you can not able to get occupied or redirected
7 - This does not have separate day or night chat when you have Ghoul like antagonists, Prince or Psychic.
