Give Me Neuts (NKs need not apply)

megathread lmao

PM me with any others that are good thanks

BD sided neut? Hell no. Right now BD is literally few steps before domination over the Evils.

Also Neutral Investigative is just a bad time tbh

Same thing is with Alchemist. Making very simmilar role to Alch is not a way who you want balance the game.

Btw

I made this a while back but I just wanted to put it here

Neutral Investigative is the only category I’d rather not have filled.

Why?

It is no more BD-sided than the player chooses to be. You can frame a BD to gain protection and then flip.

Besides, balancing within the meta depends on whether additional anti-BD neuts are going to be added. You could also change the guaranteed sheriff/paly spawn to “sheriff/paly/auditor”, which would dilute BD slightly.

Because it’s hard to have a goal investigation helps with.

I see but I think mine has a good goal for it’s abilities tbh

Still he’s very simmar to Alch who also can do such things.
Besides the fact most of the people would expect more interesting goal than just “Survive”.

You mean like the(very old suggestion) I linked?

Fair enough although with this particular suggestion it wouldn’t worked out.

what are you talking about? What does not work out?

I find a lot of suggestions fall apart precisely because people try too hard to make exotic win conditions. This is ultimately a game about convincing people to kill that person and to not kill you.

Plus too many win conditions that are achievable mid-game (scorned, inq) lead to issues with neuts arbitrarily picking winners between BD/evils.

The win condition Survive, however, does not remove the problem at all.

Blockquote The win condition Survive, however, does not remove the problem at all.

I’m referring more to the situation where a victorious scorned/inq just trolls the rest of the game. An alch taking a side to secure his win is one thing, a scorned deadlocking a vote just because is problematic.

Examples? Like words are words but can you please back up your claim or at least precise what type a suggestions you’re talking about?

Yeah but the ALCH is horrible…
Night immune four times.
Healer.
Killer.
Can pick a side.
1v1 and Alch? Oh sorry possessor, but the alch likes the BD more. Bye!

Picking a side is almost like one of the best parts of playing a Neutral class. This game becomes politics as much as it is deducing and thats really healthy. The problem is when the class has already won (Scorned, Inq) and plays a kingmaker.
