“It did, but my new power isn’t as impressive as yours.”
Eliza looks away as if she’s embarrassed
Protestors continue to stand, they seem to not want to let her in
“I can understand any modern language, it’s useful, but it’s not visually appealing.”
Toby is on his bed

He does his usual morning routine and gets out of the house.
Ultimately, the officers intervene before Nat manages to force her way through, making way for her to the library
Nat could see the receptionist on the computer, alongside two figures talking to Peter at the backend of the library
Toby walks over to wherever the heck signups are or smtn idk as long as there are no obstructions
Nat goes to the receptionist and whispers
“Hey I was told to come here by something I got in the mail”
The receptionist nods and points at Peter
“He could help a lot more. The other librarians are sadly out for now.”
Lucifer wakes up late, but relatively early considering his lack of rest for 48 hours. He looks at his card, and without seeing any changes, continues getting ready for the day.
He reads the morning paper, and is interested at Peter’s request. When he finishes, he sets off to the library.
