Godcard: Another Time [Roleplay Thread]

(yeah, he does have a phone)

(okay, basically just confirming he knows he can call David if necessary :+1:)

The many things on gods… powers… They disinterest her.

She decides to leave the library. Back to rehearsal it seems. To school we go.

well, if i encounter any ghosts I’ll try and use it then i guess…
now, i need to eat

As David is one of Jay’s few trustworthy friends, Jay decided to buy him a Meconis(not sponsored) sub. Seeing David return, he decides to go up and greet him, ignoring the envious glares from the other students.

J: “Hey David! Come sit over here.”

J: “That’s odd… he said he was going to get books but I don’t see any. Perhaps he also received a card? It’s too much of a coincidence. . . What secrets are the Olympus Library hiding.”

J: whispering “Did you also receive a black card with a God on it? Meet me after school if you did.” using his normal voice “Hey! Did you find the book for me? Oh, and here’s a sandwich for payment.”

what? he says a little too forcefully oh. oh, yeah, no. they didnt have it in stock apparently. thanks for the sandwhich

while eating he leans over what kind of card?

Jay shrugs and feigns sadness

J: “Uh, well, too bad I guess. I’ll just go place a hold on it after school.”

Jay pretends to take a bite of his sandwich to hide his words.

J: secretly “Poseidon. You?”

ah that makes sense does the same with his sandwhich
wait. wasnt poseidon greek, i thought it was just egyptian
mines anubis by the way

J: “hmmm It seems that it can be any God…”

Jay glance around and sees that he has attracted more attention than he realized.

J: softly “Talk later, people are watching.”

Julia sits in her rocking chair, staring out of her shop window.

She could see a person in a black suit entering, leaving a package and leaving right after

J: Young man! Wait!

The person completely ignored her and walked off

She sighs and goes to the package. She picks it up.

Tanner spends the rest of his time in the library researching his deity. By the time he’s finished, he’s got a pretty solid idea of who and what his card represents. Nice.

It looks like… a regular package…

Tanner could see an older man walking around, carrying books in the magic section

She opens it.

Tanner walks over to the old man, and taps him on the shoulder.
“Sir, do you’ve a moment? Did you get a card as well?”

The old man looks at Tanner and puts down the books

“No, son. I am only a scribe here…”
