Peter: “Ah! The greek goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, and procreation”
Jay walks over to the receptionist.
J: “Hello there. I was wondering if you had anything to do with these cards and what they mean.”
Jay holds up the cards for the receptionist to see.
Lucifer walks back into the bar to avoid any recognition. He pulls up his phone and looks for any news, and sure enough, Raul Long was still somewhere in New York.
He returns outside and hails a cab and gets in, telling the driver: “The police station, with haste.”
The receptionist looks at Jay
“The only person here who could aid you is Peter, our scribe. He’s at the backend of the library”
The cab driver nods and starts driving, they arrive to the police station in 20 minutes
Jay looks over at Peter.
J: “Ok, thanks. If you don’t mind me asking, however, do you have a card like this as well?”
The receptionist smiles and shakes her head
“Yes. But so far all I can do is this!”
To both their eyes, her appearance changes to average to atonishingly pretty in a blink of an eye.
“And as much as I like making myself look like a beauty who-queen, there has to be something much more useful to this figure”
Lucifer gets out of the cab and walks into the building. He heads to the receptionist.
“I have information about Raul Long.”
J: disappointed “Too bad. I would’ve liked to meet more card holders.”
Jay walks over to the scribe.
The receptionist looks surprised
“Ooh, that was fast. Head to right and take a right next to the coffee machine, you’ll see Lieutenant’s office there.”
Lucifer nods and walks to the Lieutenant’s office. He knocks on the door and walks in.
“You’re Lieutenant Jeffrey Baker?”
Peter: “The gods decide the powers, not us.”
“Amazing! Thank you so much for the information!”
Eliza writes in her notebook:
Aphrodite - Can change the user to a more pleasing appearance
Eliza leaves the library and goes to the police station
Being busy with others, Peter doesn’t manage to notice Jay
“Which is why I need more research.”
“Aphrodite has to have something other than beauty and procreation.”
Lieutenant Baker nods
“Yes, please take a seat. Tell me about Raul Long.”
Peter bows and says
“One moment, I’ll get you the book on the greek gods.”
As he starts walking away, he notices Jay
“Ah, hello. I’ll be right with you after I get this book, how about you two get to know to eachother meanwhile, eh?”
