She starts to walk the streets of NY, it seems crowded as usual, with people heading out to bars or clubs for their night.
Seeing that Raul has no vulnerabilities, Lucifer backs up.
âYou want to be diplomatic? Fine, what do you have to say for yourself?!â
âI like conversation.â
âThat I just beat your ass? It was relatively easy. Hahaâ
(yo would anyone notice davidâs card on his way to the library?)
Yawns âBusiness as usualâ and continues her way down
âTanner, youâre the one that wanted to talk it out. Letâs go, what do you want to say?!â
Tanner steps to the front of the trio, and extends his hand towards Raul. He still remains on alert, however.
âNameâs Tanner, as stated prior. So weâre here, the Three Volunteer Musketeers, because youâre a wanted man. Why exactly is that, and what exactly do ya want?â
Raul accepts the handshake.
âI am wanted because I was apparently âa murdererâ⌠pfft⌠whatever could they mean with that. And what do I want from you? You came here, I was here quite peacefully.â
The dark-haired woman looks at the news, her hands trembling. She takes a long drink, noting Nicoâs attention.
âWhy reside in this castle of all places? Canât you just stay in a hotel room?â
âAttracts the most attention, doesnât it?â
âClearly it does.â
Luciferâs eyes dimmed slightly, but didnât fade completely.
âWhat do you believe in, Raul?â
Misty heads home. The beauty queen disguise, allure, whatever itâs damned called had long since diminished and Misty is back to her normal average self. Which is good. She doesnât want to be noticed at the moment. At least now with her average appearance, she feels like herself. Not that strange beauty queen stealing jealous glances everywhere.
Somehow, she ends up in the graveyard.
Raul starts walking around the trio and starts talking during the walk
âYou see, godcards are a complicated matter, I once wished to control them all, rule the world, blah blah blah⌠you get the point. And now, my disciples arrived to do my bidding.â
âSo, what? You expect us to be your minions now?â
Eliza grabs another rock waiting for the chance to throw
âPretty much, I always like playing around with the peasants. Since I canât do anything myself personally, I have to do it indirectly.â
Tanner chuckles.
âDoes it pay well?â
âIndirectly? How is that even possible?â
