“Oh yes, Chapter 5… now let’s see.”
Eliza grabs the textbook and turns it over to Chapter 5 hoping that she’ll get information by looking at the page’s contents in a hidden manner so Mrs. Adams wouldn’t notice
The scribe looks at the card for a while.
“It looks like one of those cards that arrived a few years back. The cards had mystical powers that were granted to the user. They strangely disappeared however.”
“So, tell us what happened to Sir Maynard the Holy in 1053? We haven’t got a lot of time, girl.”
Mrs. Taija sees the paintings on Vashni and walks up to her, still maintaining a smile. She decides to poke her
“Sleepy?”
A hint of impatience flashes in Lucifer’s eyes.
“Does it look like it disappeared?!”
He takes a breather.
“How does it work?”
“Well… It’s… I need to check the books, come with me.”
He walks over to an older part of the library, it is quite dusty. He grabs the book “Godcards and users” and starts reading
“Well… Sir Maynard had obtained the legendary grail used to aid the King in battle to stop an army of rebels from taking over the kingdom.”
Eliza grins nervously

The teacher looks at Eliza
“Sir Maynard fought the Duke of Bakersfield and won, saving the clergy. You clearly haven’t done your homework, miss.”
“I’m sorry, ma’am. It’s just that I’ve been studying for so many subjects that I must of missed out on Chapter 5.”
Eliza starts to tear up
Taija chuckles a bit and then says
“Ah, come, Vashni. Let’s get that washed out. Then let’s go to my office, we need to talk.”
Lucifer follows the scribe.
“Well?”
Mrs. Adams seems cold and simply says
“Go to the principal’s office, while the rest of class will stay on chapter 5.”
“Let’s just go, we can talk about that later.”
He continues reading
“Please fully show the card to me. I am not fully sure.”
Eliza walks out of the classroom and heads towards the Principal’s office as tears flood out of her eyes
They first go to the bathroom, where there’s a mirror.
“Seems like your classmates had some fun… wash that up, I’ll be waiting in my office.”
As Taija is walking to her office, she sees the girl crying and she immediately walks up to her
“What’s wrong? Something happened?”
“I’m a fool! Mrs. Adams sent me to the principal’s office for not studying Chapter 5! I’ve studied so much and yet missed on such a small detail!”
