Peter looks at Jay and says
“Of course! Do you want me to recap?”
The doors open, with one woman walking out
“Hello, people. I am Kathryn. I assume you all are here for the magic school?”
Peter explains the entire mission that he told others before.
(( Just explains this to Jay ))
(( “I assume you all have godcards, and I would have a job for all of you. It is related to an ancient cave which was rumored to be magical… Filled with artifacts and mysteries. I want all of you to work as a group and find out what’s going on there. It’s 50km from the city, in the “Monge Forest”. Try your best in finding it, use your abilities as you see fit and after you’re done. May the gods grant you protection and safety throughout your journey…” ))
Kathryn: “Well, come on in and take your seats. I’ll be with in just a moment!”
The classroom is rather small. Seems like they didn’t expect a lot of people
Tanner smiles, and nods his head as he takes his seat. He scans the room for other black cards.
J: confused “Monge Forest… necer heard of that place. Is there a book about it that I can study up on while I’m traveling there? You weren’t very specific on your explanation as well… do you want us to collect artifacts for you or just check the place out…?”
Misty notices Tanner scanning the room.
She looks around at the rest of the students.
After a while, Misty loses interest and starts to playing with her hair. Literally. Lengthening it out, trying different styles and colors, shortening it.
Misty notices through her arms. She had laid her head in her arms, she was that bored.
“You too, huh?”
Tanner looks up, and gives a thumbs-up.
“You mean the card, right? Yeah, got one not long ago. You’re the first person I’ve talked to here to have one as well. May be just us, haha. What’s yours do?”
Misty looks at him.
“Mine just makes me prettier than normal. So fucking useless.”
She continues playing with her hair. Without using her hands.
“What does yours do?”
“I can shine light from my hands, so… more useless. But the powers improve with use I’m told — so that’s why I’m here.”
“Yours actually is useful. All I can do is draw unwanted attention to myself and make everyone think I’m a shallow bitch.”
Her hair is short and red now before returning to dirty blonde.
“Looks to be a good timewaster, at least.”
Tanner chuckles.
“Lighten up, I’m sure the powers will get ‘better’ with time.”
Tanner simply looks from side to side. The conversation is stuck on a bit of an awkward pause.
“But you DID come to magic school, ah? So you’re here for some sort of reason.”
