Guardian Angel | Neutral Support (basically contract merc)

Well if the other dies, then you’re fucked.

Correct.

It’s working against your win condition to an extent, but keeping a BD alive with the NK dead is significantly easier than keeping a BD alive with the NK alive.

I feel like it’d be considered a “play”.

Well, killing off a BD is also considered a play for your fellow neutral then.

Yea, why not? You’re still a neutral, so you can take sides. Sellsword is also not gamethrowing if they go with NK over Unseen/Cult or vice versa.

You’re going against your wincon of keeping two people alive, by decreasing the odds of at least one of them surviving. NK is death immune, while BD is a part of the majority, while Cultseen are the informed minority.

No, your win condition is:

You’re acting as if bussing as for example Unseen is also throwing. It’s not.

If a BD and an Unseen are alone and with this way what happens to the other members of each faction? Do they win? Do they lose? Just one? If so which?

In my mind just the links and the GA would win then otherwise there are gamebreak solutions that revolve around a GA getting mechanically confirmed and everyone winning (except filthy neuts).

It brings along the traitor scenario, which is especially damning for the informed minority though, but still really interesting.

Enemy Within Hellooooo (forum game reference, for the new folk)

Hey, I’ve read that one :upside_down_face:

Enemy Within’s are true clown fiestas. I was so wrong sometimes there, but it worked out.

No mention of that in this christian forum Solic I still have nightmares

You were sooo good though! Without my redcheck, you’d have swayed me.

Wait did you read the first one
Also I blame Isaac for everything still

I read it once while playing Enemy Within 2, but not again after that.

In any rate, purposefully killing one of your soulbinds hurts your chances of winning just as much as a Prince executing a confirmed BD.

Well, it is. It’s not in some cases, but in a lot it is.

You never should be allowed to work against one of your targets as GA. Probably change the wincon to “keep as many of your targets alive as possible.” Because that was one of the most problematic points on the fol merc.

You gain X more gp at the end if both survive. Incentivizing enough to keep them both alive, but not too harmful if you lose one of them.

Didn’t think there was a way to do this, however…

This is a great idea. Added to the OP.

Is 25gp enough? Who knows. Of course the number is up for debate. I thought 50 (my original idea) was too much, though :stuck_out_tongue:

Gain 5 times the number of days past since the start of the game. You still gain the GP bonus if you were forced to kill one of them to end the game
