Yeahā¦ I mean, it leaves hope that next chapter will be more interesting at least.

Well, I went to eat and watch a movie and then someone murdered, so there wasnāt much to explore

Hereās the truth behind this case!
The plot for the murders began with Apprentice and the culprit. After class trial 1, they conspired to commit a double murder. Apprentice convinced the culprit that if they both killed somebody and then covered for each other, they could have a 50% chance of winning outright, alongside other benefits.
Apprentice went over to the cafeteria and set smoke in the room to knock anybody in there out. He told the culprit that this would be his alibi for after the murder, and he would pretend to be knocked out after the kills were done. On the way to the cafeteria, Apprentice handed the culprit a kunai and headed back to the robotics lab, where their victims laid.
Inside of the robotics lab were Amelia and Arete. Apprentice and the culprit killed Arete and Amelia, respectively. Immediately after the murders, apprentice called monokuma over to Ameliaās body, betraying the culprit and making them the blackened. The culprit fled the scene, hiding the murder weapon under her bed but realizing it was far too late for her, as apprentice had outted them to everybody else.
