I mean, I am assuming Mafia didn’t kill Surge, however the logic I was basing this all on was Gorta being a Scum Watcher who saw Centuries visit a guy who died (That they did not kill)

Centuries has Gorta as a Top Townread.
Centuries reasoning is faulty and is only because Gorta saw him visiting Surge, who died and he wants to confirm Gorta as his top town all because Gorta had mechanical info that Centuries can confirm.
I understand the fact that Cent’s logic to TR gorta is… not strong, but I was just thrown off by the sudden mention of the scum watcher.
…well, I guess that was a mistake or a red herring, so I will drop the case.

Literally the assumption was Scum!Watcher Gorta, not that I believe that, we were just questioning Centuries on their read yet you guys pickpoint out me.
why did you just assume that
you can make case for whether mafia killed surge or not but you took it as set which to me suggests TMI

Centuries wasn’t assuming this so I specified the NK route because it makes a lot more sense in general.
