I disliked Marshal’s formulation on their read on Mercenary, not the outcome of Mercenary being light town. I think Mercenary started out scummy and improved later on, which I did not get from Marshal’s post, which said they apparently had a strong start. I parroted some of Apprentice’s points there, because my thought process was similar.

I think this post itself is not disingenuous seeing as what happened in WWFM but the strong start formulating reads and pinging people for discussion and generally being aggressive is a fairly decent look so far because it comes off as someone trying to play a good game without being overly performative about that fact.

Eli isn’t as frozen as a fish in the ice when being scumread by people, is genuinely trying to solve, and has contributed to thread. None of which their previous games have led me to believe they can do comfortably as wolf. No offense to Eli, but I don’t think they can improve their wolfgame that much so quickly

I’m the only one that should be claiming today (which I already have) unless your the main wagon with 1 Vote to lynch, that’s the only exception.
It’s best those who have Abilities don’t claim them NO MATTER WHAT for Day 1.
Don’t claim Day 2 either unless you have a lead.

he’s done other things I think are townie like his handling of the VT claim, but those are the main 2 reasons I think he’s a free metaread. general aggressiveness as well as trying to organize town in a way that he is confident will win game

Eh I think Seth is easily read from the start of the game. The only time I’ve been wrong on Seth is when I was spec’ing his Evil Senex game and townread him.

I think someone like Italy is a person who is easily meta-readable, but it it’s only more obviously seen over the course of multiple days

This post I still like really think it’s a Town Marshal post because he actually looked at my slot fairly and didn’t act like what I believe scum would act like to be honest, I think the me!wagon is fairly easy to pull off back then especially with the threadstate and the active voices SR’ing me

I think this is a weak reason, because you will hardly have opportunism like 3/4 hours in the day leading to an actual lynch end of day. I can’t comment on the rest of your Marshal read, because I don’t know if you’re town.

I think Surge and Italy are both likely town here.
Those two have town and scum metas as different as day and night.
Gorta is an underwhelming slot for today, though their alignment should become clear later on.
Eli is trying hard and isn’t frozen, which is a good look compared to their last scum game, where they were frozen and got executed D1.
