end of day VCA is important because votes matter because somebody is going to die, but like before then it’s just a way to track someone’s top wolfread if they actively keep up with votes in that way.
Votes aren’t just wolfreads. They are a “at the time of now, who do you want to see dead”?
That flash avatar guy had like three strong wolfreads but only voted on PKR.
In any way they don’t justify meme voting. If the self votes were meme votes.
the same could be literally accomplished by saying “at the time of now, I want to see x dead”
I’m sorry I make my progression ever so slightly harder to track by not using a symbol to represent it and just saying my thoughts
it does not change the fact that i’ve pushed eli before basically anybody else and so your argument that my push was opportunistic is false because i’ve been pushing it before the other conversation happened.
If you hate my philosophy, whatever, does not change that I have pushed eli before the conversation about him sitting on sidelines
because he’s been very reserved this game when he’s capable of more, and hasn’t done anything tonally obviously villagery when he usually does as villa.
It’s a “I am not townreading this when I should be if he is town” read which is weak, hence the lean
Good progression here pointing out Biden’s behavior.
Though Biden is still solving, which is a good look from their slot.
I’ll be interested to see if Merc’s read on Biden has changed or not.
I can see where Mercenary is coming from. Eli has been a little underwhelming lately and if they’re town, they need to step up their game.
Spicy push on Marshal.
This was a solo push, I have a good feeling this is a villager.
Looks rather towny. I don’t see how a wolf makes this sort of post.
Good take on Foley.
I’ve noticed Foley is asking good questions and doing their best to solve the game.
Questions Marshal’s motive for voting on Eli. I don’t think Marshal’s vote was opportunistic though I don’t think a wolf would shade village!marshal of being opportunistic.
Conclusion: This is a town lean.
This slot is asking questions and none of their pushes seemed forced to me.
There were three vote on Biden. And I am sure he was a topic of a conversation for a while. Also, what do you mean by me being cautious? There’s no hedge there or anything I can see as one. I said Biden is town, and if he somehow is wolf, town should start doing something. That’s not in anyway me saying that he may be a wolf. Me saying that his read is not good is also not indicative of his alignment in anyway.
The OP only said that there is anti-claim mechanic in play, not that it can only target someone who mention their flavour. So yes, it’s a new information that was not from the OP. Also, while I may be true that my post sound like I am not taking a stance I still did put Eli as a townlean, but nothing higher than that due to having no other good reason to support. That was not me not taking a stance, it was me putting someone in a fitting position and not immediately jump to a conclusion.
I will tell you that I did have a reason for asking that. As I am curious why Marshal is being over-the-top with something that I think is a common stuff.
I never said that Apprentice is a bad wolf? I even said that his read is good. My point is that I would like to see him make a read on more players whose has not been, you know, read by others players already.
Questionable doesn’t mean that it’s wolfy. Just that I don’t understand why he is doing that or what he is thinking.
Uhh, what? I see nothing wrong with what I said? I have a reason to townread him but none to scumread him. Because the good outweigh the bad, I will obviously put him as good, right?
You do realize I have two sections for my read for a reason right? The second section is where I put my read that I know doesn’t say much and that sort of thing. Also, I am fairly certain that I didn’t use meta anywhere to read Derp. Can you point it to me?
See above. I never said whenever it’s a bad thing or not. I pointed it out because I want Wazza to react to it.
There were 500 post. As the thread were inactive during that time I see that the best way to start is to catch-up with the thread and share my thoughts on previous stuff that I missed.
Special mention because it doesn’t really fit with the post above.
I don’t know how did you come to that conclusion. I have interact with Wazza and argue with him for a while. I have also been mentioned for like 5+ times in at least 3 players+ post. So I want you to explain this.
He asks early on a lot of questions with no follow-up, then engages in multiple discussions merely to cast doubt on other’s reads.
Summary
[quote=“Marshal, post:252, topic:83887”]
like you don’t explain why not taking a stance or idgaf attitude even is town AI. And like there are so many reasons for / so many explanations for, in first 4 posts, not taking a stance, that it just feels like you pulled this out of thin air rather than ascertained something specific from the posts.
…And you make solo reads, although don’t try to engage anyone on them? You just say your reads and don’t seem to want anyone else to get involved on them. As if you wanted to stay at the sidelines.
Everyone posted their explanations. This feels like a cheap attempt at looking as if he was making content. It would just make everyone reexplain what they already explained. I don’t see how those questions are useful.
He has little followup on his reads. He scumleaned Apprentice and forgot it, apparently.
So walk to the sidelines.
A bit too self-aware.
This is really stretchy based off only a ping. I can’t see Eli doing it maliciously here. It’s just a prod. Then he keeps insisting on this Eli read without anything new to add (other than people are townreading Eli for his relaxed tone).
On a counterside, I like this post. Marshal isn’t trying to bloat the thread (or let the thread continue to be bloated) or enrage Surge (maybe on fear it would backlash on him).
But I’m also a soft-hearted peb.
He also yet didn’t change any reads on basis of new information.
You said you towncored Centuries a post later Marshal.
At the first time I asked his reasonings he… explains nothing on why he wasn’t putting pressure as he said he would and self-votes. When I question him again, he AtEs.
Conclusion: I started suspecting Marshal because of the vote-and-ate behavior, and kept my vote on him because of his attempt to shift reads, poor progression and trying to look as if he was making effort for the sake of looking townie.
Also his main wolfread (and the Italy towncore read) both had very weak reasoning behind it until he decided to expand on Eli (to push him) one hour from now, I would expect more from Marshal even if he isn’t pushing on purpose. It felt very much like “I need a wolfread now so let’s find someone”.
I’m going to sleep so not pinging anyone on thoughts on this. I just think Marshal should be the lynch today.
